Captured ship: Success of London (master Anthony Thorne). [first capture]
History: an English merchant ship (ketch, 30 tons) bound from Newfoundland to London, laden with fish, and train oil; first taken by a French privateer and then retaken in November 1692 off the Scilly Isles by HMS Crown(Thomas Warren commanding), and brought into Plymouth.

- [CP 1]: letter detailing the ship's capture;
- [CP 2-CP 3]: claim to the ship and cargo on behalf of merchants in London, attestation, attestation as to the ship's voyage;
- [CP 4-CP 6]: commission of appraisement, substitution or similar, inventory.
[Decision: ship and cargo restored, paying salvage 21 November 1692].
