Captured ship: Stadt of Stade (master Valentine Blom).
History: a Swedish merchant ship (80 tons) bound from Hamburg to Lisbon, laden with pipestaves, iron, beer, boxes, cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon, and wire; taken on 24 August / 3 September off Rye by HMS Hind Ketch (George Warren commanding), and brought into Dover.

Court Papers numbered CP 1-CP 5:
- [CP 1]: two examinations;
- [CP 2-CP 3]: two sets of claims to the ship and cargo on behalf of merchants in Hamburg and Stade;
- [CP 4]: attestation relating to the capture;
- [CP 5]: abstracts and translations of ship's papers [all returned].
[Decision: ship and cargo restored, 10 September 1691].
