Captured ship: St Simon of Bordeaux (master James or Jacques Mesplede).
History: a French merchant ship (200 tons) bound from Bordeaux to Dunkirk, laden with wine, brandy, prunes, vinegar, paper, and olives; taken on 22 February / 4 March 1690/1 off Guernsey by HMS Crown (Robert Wilmot commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
