Captured ship: St Simon of Hamburg (master Francis or Frans Boye).
History: a Hamburg merchant ship (280 tons) bound from Hamburg to Cadiz, laden with iron, pipestaves, and piece goods; taken in 1692 off Beachy Head by the privateer Orange Flower (Samuel Bates commanding), and brought into the Downs.
