Captured ship: Squirrel or L'Ecureil of Brest (commander Sieur de Rollon).
History: a French privateer (60 tons, 10 guns) bound from Brest on a cruise; taken on 1/11 February 1694/5 off Dungarvan by HMS Pearl ( Holmes commanding), and brought into Kinsale.
