Captured ship: Spy of St Malo (commander Philip Walsh).
History: a French or Irish Jacobite privateer (frigate, 80 tons, 10 guns, abandoned by its crew) bound from St Malo on a cruise; taken on 15 /25 June 1695 at Cape Clare, where they were driven ashore and the crew escaped, by HMS Dreadnought (Thomas Cole commanding), and brought into Kinsale.

- SP 1-SP 2: letter from Francis Brown at St Malo to Walsh with instructions, notes relating to a prize taken by Walsh;
- SP 3-SP 7: loose papers that serve a a sailing journal for June 1695.
