Captured ship: Spread Eagle of Hamburg (master John Fisher).
History: an English merchant ship (hoy) bound from London to Hamburg as part of a convoy, laden with sugar, logwood, currants, ginger, furs, silk, copperas, tin, cotton, calf skins, allum, worsted hose and woolen cloth; first taken on 5/15 November 1691 off Orford by a French privateer an then retaken on 10/20 November 1691 by the packet boat Spanish Princess (Capt. Chenhall or Clenhald commanding), and brought into Harwich.
