Folios 321-322: Alexander Wilmot Schomberg, HMS York, The Downs. Following his appointment to HMS Dictator the usual number of men were discharged with me from the HMS Loire, Captain Thomas Brown having bought with him his proportion from HMS Bulwark. These men have never been able to join me as they were sent to the Baltic to join HMS Dictator expecting to be under my command and were therefore an addition to her crew. HMS Dictator has now arrived here and HMS York is 35 short of her compliment. Request that those on HMS Dictator from HMS Loire now be discharged to HMS York.
