Folios 299-300: James Keith Shepard, Regulating Officer, Gravesend. In the case of Thomas G Wildbore and the enclosed papers. Cannot produce positive proof in contradiction of the statement.
Folios 301-302: enclosure with folios 299-300. Letter dated 15 October 1812 by J Staniforth, George Street, Hanover Square. Thomas G Wildbore has been removed to HMS Namur at the Nore, requests his discharge as a Landsman and enclose certificates to prove he has never been to sea before.
Folio 303: enclosure with folios 299-300. Oath dated 12 October 1812 by William Milner and Thomas Frankland that Thomas Wildbore of Kingston upon Hull is a Carpenter and has never been to sea prior to going in the Hound, Captain Briggs, from Trinidad to London and was impressed on the 21 September 1812 as the Hound passed Gravesend. Witnessed by Andrew Hollingworth, One of His Majesties Justices.
Folio 304: enclosure with folios 299-300. Statement dated 12 October 1812 from William [Arnott?], Ship Builder to the late J Smith and the present Henry Smith Esquire, that Mr John Wildbore, Painter at this place, who's son Thomas Wildbore who served his apprenticeship as a shipwright to the late John Smith Esquire. is unlawfully impressed.
