Folio 214: John Simpson, HMS Coquette, off Barnstable. Reporting that due to an error in reckoning and strong SW winds has been obliged to put Captain Coore, Aide-de-Camp to Lieutenant-General Sir George Prevost with the dispatches ashore here. Will proceed to Milford Haven to land the mail and then to Plymouth Sound.
