Folios 497-498: James Slade, HMS Experiment, Falmouth. States the case of Christopher Cornish, aged 20, a bound Apprentice to the Sea Service at Penzance and who was transferred for the unexpired term of his apprenticeship to another Master. Christopher Cornish deserted and joined a Packet. He was impressed after his Master gave him up to the Navy as a punishment for his improper conduct.
Folios 499-500: enclosure with folios 497-498. Petition dated 17 August 1812 by Christopher Cornish, Falmouth. Please for his discharge on payment of a sum money from his father and friends. Currently on board HMS Experiment at Falmouth.
