States that Captain Alexander Shippard left home immediately on receiving orders to join HMS Asia in the Scheldt and from a letter received from Deal two days ago, believes he must have been on board for several days. Expresses surprise at two letters from the Admiralty received recently addressed to Alexander Shippard and she is now anxious why they have been sent to his home.
