Folio 363: Peter Spicer, Regulating Officer, Swansea. Acknowledges receipt of letter of 6 August and papers regarding Richard White, impressed by Lieutenant John Turner, who has been directed by Peter Spicer to discharge him in accordance with an Admiralty letter of 3 August. Explains that Richard White will only have just been discharged as Lieutenant John Turner had already sailed with HMS Ann on 2 August and would not have received his letter until 8 August. Captain John Philips, Regulating Officer at Bristol also mentioned.
