Folios 342-343: James Slade, HMS Experiment, Falmouth. Acknowledges receipt of an Admiralty letter dated 28 July 1812, containing a dispatch for Major General Hector William Munro, Governor at Trinidad, and directing him to deliver the same to the officer commanding HMS Arrow or if she is not ready to sail, to the Commander of HMS Dart and to direct him to put to sea immediately and proceed to Trinidad. Explains that he has detained HMS Arrow until further orders in consequence of an express to that effect from Admiral Sir Robert Calder at 0730 am on 30 July 1812.
