Folios 244-245: James Slade, HMS Experiment, Falmouth. In response to directions received on 9 July, confirms that the dispatch to Lieutenant Samuel Sharp Treacher, Commander of HMS Holly has been delivered with orders not to open it until Teacher has arrived southward and westward of Scilly and that the HMS Holly put to sea 45 minutes after the dispatch was delivered at 8.45 pom on 11 July 1812.
