Folios 230-231: enclosure with folios 228-229. Letter dated 4 July 1812 by Clement Mingory Syden, Lieutenant, Royal Marines, HMS Asia, to George Scott, Captain, HMS Asia . Requesting George Scott forwards the enclosed letter to the Admiralty.
Folios 232-233: enclosure with folios 230-231. Letter dated 4 July 1812 by Clement Mingory Syden, Lieutenant, Royal Marines, HMS Asia, to the Admiralty. Requesting that his wish to resign from the Royal Marines, on account of having no independent fortune to defray his expenses, is made known to the Admiralty.
