Folios 169-170: Andrew Smith, Regulating Officer, Greenock. Reports four deserters who have escaped from HMS Rosa by taking one of the boats alongside. He has severely reprimanded the officers and ordered the sentinels to be punished for neglecting their duties and hopes this will prevent it happening again. The four deserters are: William Ratcliffe, Ordinary Seaman: William [Haxton?], Able Seaman: John Cook, Able Seaman; Benjamin Bass, Able Seaman.
