Folios 118-119: James Slade, HMS Experiment, Falmouth. Regarding an instruction that no local Militiamen be impressed and that the local Militiamen, William Downing, Francis Bolitha and William Owl, already taken, had been discharged to the Orestes for passage to Plymouth. Checking whether all local Militiamen, when not assembled for exercise, are forbidden to be impressed.
