Folios 100-101: Peter Spicer, Swansea. States the case of William David, aged 24 impressed by Lieutenant Nolter following information that he was a deserter from HM Revenue Cutter the Antelope.
Folios 102-103: enclosure with folios 100-101. Letter dated 6 June 1812 by John Mathias, Master of the John of Newport, Swansea, to the Admiralty. Petitions for the release of William David, declaring that he is not a deserter from the Navy.
Folios 104-105: enclosure with folios 100-101. Anonymous note, Swansea, 9 April 1812, to the Admiralty. Names William Davies [David], on board the John, owner Captain Mathews, as a deserter from the Navy. Thomas Rees on board the Captain, also named as a deserter. Asks for a guinea for the information.
