Folios 543-544: Peter Spicer, Swansea. He is asked to comment on Baker Banks who was impressed.
Folios 545-546: Baker Banks, Charlestown, St Austell, Cornwall. Mr Banks states he is the father of the impressed man Baker Banks and sets out the circumstances of the impress. He also describes the circumstances of his family and the fact he now has 8 children to support which is why he encouraged his son to take up a position on the boat from which he was impressed. He attaches a copy of his son's birth certificate witnessed by Charles Lyle, Minister and Robert Nowell and William Hodges, churchwardens, which show his son is 17 years of age. He asks that he be released
