Folios 539-540: William Style, 9 Bentick Street, Manchester,. He reports the losses suffered by the Cadiz Gun Boats as a consequence of bad weather. He recounts the circumstances under which he was wrecked and 16 of his crew drowned. He lossed all his possessions and navigation instruments and books and as a consequence he claims reimbursement for these losses. He also reminds the Admiralty that all his officers had suffered similar losses. He cites the precendents of other Captains who in similar circumstances lost all they owned in similar circumstances.
