Folios 286-287: James Keith Shephard, Gravesend. He is asked to comment on an impressed man Patrick Quigley. He encloses an application for release signed by Quigley. Despite quigley asserting he had been invalided from HMS Service, Captain Shephard sayes he is fit for service.
Folios 288-289: enclosure with folios 286-287. Letter dated 15 April 1812 by Patrick Quigley, HMS Corso, Gravesend. He claims he was discharged from HMS? 1805 Aug 2 but he claims he has lost the discharge paper. He also has a wife and 8 children and asks for a discharge.
