Folio 252: enclosure with folios 249-250. Certificate issued from The Public Office, High Street, Shadwell and sworn before Rober Raynesford JP, dated 1812 Apr 7 signed by John MCarthy. The effect being that MCarthy knew Dennis Leary never to have been to sea or been a waterman.
