Folios 179-180: Thomas Stamp, HMS Halcyon, The Downs. He reports that following the orders of Captain Barlow of HMS Yotk he left the Mediterranean convoy on 2nd April when off Plymouth. In furtherance of his orders he later gave permission to those ships bound for Portsmouth to leave when they were off Dunmore and he has lately arrived with the rest of the convoy at The Downs where they will wait for further orders.
