Description

Folios 252-253: Andrew Smith, Regulating Officer, Greenock. Reply to letter dated 1 February 1812 requesting details in the case of Thomas Murray alias Thomas Miller. He is a boy volunteer aged 14 years and declared he was not an apprentice.

Folios 254-255: enclosure with folios 252-253. Letter from Stevenson MacGill One of the Members for Glasgow, dated 27 January 1812. On behalf of the Mother of a boy aged 12, Thomas Murray alias Thomas Miller to be released from service.
