Folios 246-247: [Peter?] Spicer, Swansea. Enclosing a letter from Lieutenant Notter about an impressed man who had been rescued from the Gang as they were unarmed. The gang was sent again assisted by Lieutenant Tinder and the escapee James Stone who appears to belong to HMS Melampus has been sent to the Ann Tender.
Folios 248-249: enclosure with folios 246-247. Letter dated 30 January 1812 by William Notter, Swansea. Report of an Impress Gang of Him, a Midshipman and Six Seaman, in Whitehaven. Vessels:- Billirle? and Bolton.
