Folios 233-234: enclosure with folios 231-232. Copy of order date 16 August 1811 to Mr William Braund, Clerk on HMS Thais for Acting in the Office of Mr John Oldershaw Hewes, Late Purser, dated the day after that gentleman drowned at Cape Coast Castle. Recommend confirmation to a smaller vessel.
