Folios 126-127: James Slade, HMS Experiment, Falmouth. Reply to letter dated 12 January 1812. David Wingate was Impressed by Lieutenant Carter on the 31 December 1811 out of the American Ship Horace and David Wingate contradicts the Master of the Horace, Mr Appleton's statement.
