Folios 144-145: Joseph Syme, HMS Thracian, Spithead.
Regarding the ship's sergeant of marines, Richard Winship, who Syme says has neglected his duty on various occasions, he requests that the man be 'broken', reduced to the ranks. Admiralty note on rear says to apply to Sir Richard Curtis for directions that this be done.
