Folios 118-119: James Keith Shepard, Regulating Officer, Gravesend. Asked to state the case of Thomas Donaldson, lately aboard the El Corso, who was impressed on 3 October aboard the snow Nerina off Gravesend. He is an ordinary seaman, 5'5" and about 18 years old. Said he has been at sea only about 17 months and is an apprentice but showed no indentures.
Folios 120-121: enclosure with folios 118-119. Statement, at London 10 October 1811, from John Stewart at the Coal Meters Arms, Lower Shadwell, that Donaldson belongs to the brig Nerina, of which he is master. Offers 'any sum' to gain the release of the boy. Admiralty note on rear of folio 119 says £60.
