Folios 76-77: James Keith Shephard, Regulating Captain, Gravesend. Regarding the case of James Williams who was impressed by Lieutenant Petley after being discovered stowed in mechant ship Colonist. By trade he is a wheelwright but claims to be the Carpenter of Colonist.
Folio 78-79: enclosure with folios 76-77. Undated petition of Sarah Williams representing her husband James William, Carpenter of Merchant ship Colonist, Peter Jackson, Master, who was impressed by the Gravesend Press Gang and enclosing Captains Jackson's certificate confirming that her husband is the Carpenter and requesting his release.
