Folios 64-65: James Keith Shepard, Gravesend. Asked to state the case of Reece[?] Jenkins said to be a deserter from Blackheath Regiment of Local Militia, advises that he was impressed on 1 October 1811, by Lt Jordan, having been found stowed away on the Enterprise, inward bound off Gravesend. Being by trade a shipwright, was said to be the carpenter of this vessel, but he had only been at sea for seven months (Shepard says this is doubtful). He is 5' 7", 26 years of age, rated ordinary. Admiralty note on rear says cannot be discharged.
