Captured ship: Santa Maria of Stockholm (George Cross Master).
History: a Swedish ship (300 tons), bound from Bordeaux to Lübeck, laden with wine, brandy and prunes; taken on 12/22 January 1694/5 off Dover by the privateer Experiment (John Powell commanding), and brought into Dover.
Documents: manuscript appeal papers.
