Description

Folios 61-64. Letter from 1st Earl Harcourt to the Right Honourable Lord Viscount Weymouth regarding the 'Sixth Transmiss of the Session consisting of seven Bills sealed in Council, of which a list is enclosed.' Dated at Dublin Castle. Enclosed: Folios 63-64: List of Bills Sealed in Council, which relate to: 'the effective prevention of fraud by his Majesty's Revenue; additional duties on several commodities, goods and services, as well as the prohibition of importation of gold, silver, lace, cambricks and lawns (except of the manufacture of Great Britain); better regulation of the Foundling Hospital and Worth House in the City of Dublin; amendments to various acts relating to lands on which light houses are to be built, preventing disorders that may happen by the marching of soldiers, and sale of lands containing decayed barracks; making more convenient the approach to the City of Dublin; paving the streets, lanes, quays, bridges, squares, courts and alleys within the City and County of the City of Dublin; and repairing the road leading from Timahoe in the Queen's County through Ballynahill, Durrow, Beggars-Inn & from thence through the City of [Eashell?] to the Town of Tipperary in the County of Tipperary'.
