Letter dated at Dublin Castle from Lord Harcourt to Lord Rochford enclosing: Folios 109-110: List of proposed successions in the army in Ireland. 5th Dragoons (Yorke's) - Captain Thomas Moore seeks leave to retire at the regulated price; Captain-Lieutenant Richard Kiely to be Captain; Lieutenant John French to be Captain-Lieutenant; Cornet John Bolton to be Lieutenant; Mr Richard St Leger to be Cornet. 9th Foot (Lord Ligonier's) - Captain-Lieutenant William Sharpe seeks leave to retire at the regulated price; Lieutenant Charles Annesley to be Captain-Lieutenant; Ensign John McNeill to be Lieutenant; Mr Alexander Richardson to be Ensign. 15th Foot (Pigott's) Captain Isaac Augustus D'Arippe after nearly twenty years service (described) 'and having expended all his little patrimony in different purchases and being in an indifferent state of health' seeks leave to dispose of his commission at the regulated price; Lieutenant Christopher Machell to be Captain; Ensign Hugh Lloyd to be Lieutenant; Mr Richard North to be Ensign. 57th Foot (Irwin's) - Captain James Mayne seeks leave to retire at the regulated price; Lieutenant John Cannon to be Captain; Ensign Robert Waddle to be Lieutenant; Mr William Balfour to be Ensign. 66th Foot (Lord Adam Gordon's) - Ensign John Tuffnall seeks leave to dispose of his commission, which he purchased, at the regulated price; Mr Alexander Trotter to be Ensign.
