Description

Folios 69-74. Letter dated at Dublin Castle from Lord Harcourt to Lord Rochford summarising the enclosed letter from George Carleton in relation to which he has directed Sir John Blaquiere to write to Lieutenant Tonken. Enclosing: Folios 71-72: Letter dated at Cork from G [George] Carleton to Alexander Mangin suggesting that the Argo transport which has arrived for the 46th Foot be exchanged for the 28th Foot which would complete that regiment's transports to the same place without the necessity of unloading any of the camp equipage or stores on board. Folios 73-74: Letter dated at Dublin Castle from J [John] Blaquiere to Lieutenant Thomas Tonken directing him to make the exchange suggested in the latter's letter to Alexander Mangin. Copy.
