Description

Folios 330: Peter Spicer, Swansea. Encloses a copy of Order from Sir Robert Calder, Commander in Chief at Plymouth, directing him to discharge John Letten [Litten]. He has not complied but has stated the circumstances to Sir Robert Calder and that he is waiting on the decision of the Admiralty.

Foilo 331: enclosure with folio 330. Order dated 12 September 1810 by Sir Robert Calder, HMS Salvador del Mundo, in Hamoaze, to Peter Spicer, Regulating Officer at Swansea. Copy of Order to release John Letten [Litten], Mate of the Floren, as he appears to have a Mate's Protection.
