Folios 321-322: James Slade, HMS Experiment, Falmouth. Points out a contradiction between the King's Proclamation and the Instructions for the Guidance of Officers on Impressment regarding age requirements for particular ratings and the payment of a Bounty. He has three men, Thomas Collins, William Covey and Joseph Garratty whom he believes are entitled to a Bounty but the Navy Board are refusing, under the King's Proclamation, to pay.
Folios 323-324: enclosure with folios 321-322. Letter dated 14 September 1810 by James Slade, HMS Experiment, Falmouth, to the Admiralty. Adds ages of the three men: Thomas Collins aged nineteen, William Covey aged eighteen and Joseph Garratty aged eighteen.
