Folios 308-309: Peter Spicer, Swansea. Reports that Lieutenant William Nolter has been threatened with legal action for impressing John Letten [Litten], Mate of a vessel, on 4 September 1810. Gives a brief description of the circumstances under which he detained John Letten [Litten], believing it to be correct under his powers and therefore could not agree to his discharge, as requested by Letten's [Litten] Master, without Admiralty approval.
