Folios 297-298: James Keith Shepard, Gravesend. States the case of James Holland, Ordinary Seaman on HMS Corso, impressed into service on 30 August by Lieutenant Jordan out of a homeward bound merchant vessel the Patent. He had been an apprentice and had left his Master fifteen months earlier by mutual consent. Gives a description of James Holland.
Folios 299-300: enclosure with folios 297-298. Letter dated 5 September 1810 by William Moss, Plasterer, Upper Chapman Street, Saint George, Middlesex. Petition to release James Holland from the service and return him to complete his apprenticeship.
