Folios 217-218: Peter Spicer, Swansea. Reports the case of Squire Robinson who was not impressed but volunteered as a substitute for Robert Stewart, late Seaman on HMS Saint Domingo. Squire Robinson was sent to Portsmouth in the tender HMS Eliza in mid August 1810.
Folios 219-220: enclosure with folios 217-218. Letter dated 28 August 1810 by James S Newsome, former High Sheriff and Justice of the Peace in Surrey, Wandsworth Lodge. Requests his relative, Squire Robinson, is discharged and outlines his reasons as to why he believes the impressment to be illegal.
