Description

Folios 191-192: James Keith Shepard, Gravesend. States the case of William French impressed from an outward bound West Indian boat coming from the Medway. Brief details of William French including age, height and background.

Folio 193: enclosure with folios 191-192. Reference to a letter dated 23 August 1810 by Sarah French, Slate Alley, Adam Street, Rotherhithe. Application for the Discharge of Impressed Men by mother of William French, an Indentured Apprentice on HMS El Corso, impressed at Gravesend on 19 August 1810.
