Folios 162-163: Peter Spicer, Swansea. Encloses Lieutenant Nicholas Kortright's report regarding Walter Reigh whom, had he known was under age at the time of his impress, would have ordered his discharge.
Folios 164-165: enclosure with folios 162-163. Petition dated 11 August 1810 by Patrick Carley, Mariner, Wexford, Ireland. Petition, sworn before Rowland Pritchard, Justice of the Peace, for Walter Reigh to be released from service so that he can return to his apprenticeship in Wexford which began on 1 May 1809. Walter Reigh was impressed in Swansea on 10 August 1810 by Lieutenant Nicholas Kortright of HMS Eliza and who has refused Patrick Carley's appeal to release him.
Folios 166-167: enclosure with folios 162-163. Letter dated 15 August 1810 by Lieutenant Nicholas Kortright, HMS Eliza, Swansea, to Peter Spicer. Statement concerning impressment of Walter Ray [Reigh] from the Friendship who is claiming to be 17 years old but has no documentation to prove it and is also acknowledging that he has never signed any indenture of Apprentice.
