Folios 156-157: James Keith Shepard, Gravesend. Reports that William Barber, one of four Landsmen received at Gravesend Rendezvous as substitutes for Alexander Lindsay on HMS Agressor, has been refused and returned from HMS Namur as being too short... Explains that he was not given any standards of height and was governed by the customs of the Rendezvous - age and state of health. Asks for directions on how to proceed with William Barber who is now on board HMS Corso.
