Folios 235-236: Michael Seymour, HMS Amethyst, off Scilly. Reports that he fell in with HMS Thalia, HMS Nemesis, and HMS Camilla with the Halifax convoy on 8 September, in lat 40,13, long 46,18. He was directed by Captain Walker to report that all was well and no ships had become separated since they left Falmouth. He is sending this by The Alligator of London, one of the West Indiamen, which parted from HMS Agamemnon several days ago after the convoy had passed Bermuda. He has in company another ship of that fleet which he is accompanying to safety.
