Folios 219-220: Thomas Seccombe, HMS Glatton, Plymouth. Lieutenant James Harding has produced a letter to Captain Seccombe from the Transport Board, appointing him as an Agent in that service. Requests appointment of a replacement.
Folios 221-222: enclosure with folios 219-220. Letter dated 3 November 1806 from James Harding, HMS Glatton, Plymouth, to The Admiralty. Reports that he has today received his appointment from the Transport Board. He has applied to Admiral Young for permission to leave HMS Glatton, which will not be allowed until he is replaced, or there is an order sent. Requests this will be done by return.
