Folios 217-218: Thomas Seccombe, HMS Glatton, Plymouth. Reports that his ship is still one Lieutenant short as Lieutenant T R Ridge, who was appointed prior to their sailing, has not joined. Requests that another is appointed if there has been a problem, but junior to Lieutenant James Harding (27 July 1802) who fitted out the ship and has conducted himself as First Lieutenant much to Captain Seccombe's satisfaction.
