Captured ship: Gilded Hook of Copenhagen (Goetman Christens or or Gudman Christiansen Master).
History: a Danish merchant ship (200 tons) bound from Bordeaux to Hamburg, laden with wine, vinegar, brandy; taken on 3/13 July off Ushant by HMS Greenwich (Christopher Billop commanding), and brought into Plymouth.
Documents: manuscript appeal papers.
