Occupation: Platelayer.
Place of accident: Velvet Hall, Northumberland.
Injury: Hand crushed
Details of accident: He was endeavouring along with another workman to pinch up the bottom board of a ballast wagon and in doing so the pinch which the other workman was using slipped and struck Linton's hand and crushed it against the bottom
