Place of accident: Thirsk, Yorkshire.
Injury: Fatally injured
Details of accident: He was running along the South End of the Up platform as the 9.30 am train from Stockton was coming to a stand when he slipped off the edge and fell between the tender and the van. The wheels of the van passed over his right leg cutting if off and inflicting severe internal injuries
